Hi everyone I’m Dhvani Vashist of batch EB04 of BTech CSE Bennett University. And in today’s video I’ll take about my Internship Experience at Moveinsync Technology Solutions.

ETS: MoveInSync’s primary product, ETS or Employee Transport Solution is a SaaS platform that helps clients to automate commute for their employees. It is not only reliable but it also helps in reducing transportation charges.
MIS (MoveInSync) automates the entire process of corporate transportation by optimizing the routes and schedules. Some of the services provided under ETS are scheduling, compliance, billing, tracking, management reports, and routing.
Companies that are using ETS have enjoyed a significant decrease in overall costs and travel distance making the commute process comfortable and smooth for the employees.
Shuttle: Similar to ETS, Shuttle is another SaaS platform that automates the process of corporate transportation by providing shuttles. Some services which are provided under shuttle are fixed routes, continuous tracking, multiple attendances, billing, and compliance.
These services are highly secured and any non-compliant driver/shuttle is flagged and taken into notice.
Rentlz: When it comes to adhoc requests like airport transportation or client visits, MoveInSync provides its clients with a service called Rentlz. Under this service, any user can rent a car for any spontaneous transportation need. Our solution automates the whole process from scheduling an impromptu cab to bill generation while also maintaining reliability and employee satisfaction. Services provided under rentlz are billing, compliance, scheduling, tracking, and routing.
Total: It is an end-to-end transport service solution that includes everything from cabs and on-ground services to schedules and assistance. This solution also comprises vendor management, on-site configuration, and transport helpdesk. MIS automates the entire process and provides an all-inclusive solution for employee transportation.
WorkInSync: Adapting to the hybrid working culture, MoveInSync came with the idea of WorkInSync(WIS) which is a SaaS platform that provides the perfect hybrid workplace solutions and ensures employees’ safe return to the office.
It provides the user to select his/her work preference. If someone selects the “work from office” option then they can book any desk or conference room for the day or can book meals from the cafeteria. The WIS feature also allows leads and HRs to monitor employees’ and visitors’ check-ins. It is tailor-fit for every client’s way of working. Desk booking, meal booking, employee scheduling, visitor management are some of the services which are included in WIS.
Roles and Responsibilities:
I was hired by MoveInSync for the role of a DevOps Intern. DevOps is a combination of the development and operations field which helps an organization to deliver high-quality products by reducing development cycles.
My responsibilities as a DevOps intern in MIS include:
- Building and Maintaining the cloud infrastructure that the software essentially depends on.
- Creating and maintaining Jenkins job for various prod and stag services.
- Working on python scripts for several automation-related tasks.
- Analyzing and resolving alerts on different instances which are interpreted using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Making use of tomcat to do the site-level deployment.
- Coordinating and communicating with different team leads to release new software versions every week and monitor them.
- Setting up sites with different features for new clients or suspending the previous ones.
- Working with different database endpoints.
- Working on ansible scripts to automate configuration across different servers.
- Working on lambda scripts to automate AWS tasks.
- Analyzing the multiple AWS resources used by the company to make it more cost-efficient.
- Working on different Operations tasks to modify features in the existing sites and maintain the flow of servers.
- Continuous Integration automation and code coverage integration with Jenkins
- Update configurations on sites.
- Single Sign-On configurations for different clients.
- Working on different utilities provided by MoveInSync as well as WorkInSync.
- Maintaining the workflow of datasync service which is a part of the ETS solution.
- Fixing crashes on sites by finding RCA and informing the developers if needed.
- Working with the consul tool to configure various features for the WorkInSync model.
- Maintaining and renewing SSL certificates.
- Work on AWS chalice to automate the process of maintaining AWS resources.

Conclusion:
My experience as a DevOps intern in a tech startup has been highly motivating and incredibly fulfilling. The opportunity to be able to learn and work on new technologies has helped me get a better insight into how an organization undertakes real-life problems and figures out various approaches. Alongside looking into the architecture of the company, one of the integral parts of being in DevOps is to coordinate and communicate with other departments. The major advantage of interning at a tech startup is being able to work closely and engage in discussions with mentors and seniors and getting a chance to learn from their experiences in the domain. Lastly, I would like to thank my team for being a great support throughout.
